| I have taken a few pictures of birds with banding on their legs but, this is the first banded Painted Bunting for me. The bird was one of the willing subjects that I photoed. I didn't really notice the band, I was focusing on the eye and the bird was out there a piece. This was taken with a 700mm lens arrangement by Canon and cropped until the pixels were screaming. Funny how the little things slip by at that distance The PB was in a shade and just leaning out to get a look at me. |
